Better Family Life “Own The Summer” 2018
With all of the crime, political and social issues that are plaguing the country and your personal lives, don’t you think it’s time to take your life back?  Better Family Life, through their Youth, Family and Clinical Services, wants you and your children to take back your summer and participate in their “Own The Summer” summer activities.  Starting with their Neighborhood Resource Center, Better Family Life has taken their kind hearts to the Ferguson neighborhood and is now offering services such as medical supplies and an open food pantry, Monday through Friday, to assist Ferguson residents in their day-to-day living challenges.  ​​

In the wake of the alarming STD and violence rates in the St. Louis metro area, Better Family Life U.S. Office of Adolescent Health and Emerson hosted a day filled with education and entertainment designed to unite, empower and excite youth about making a brighter future for themselves and our community.

 Youth Empowerment Rally Tour to Visit Seven Area Schools
Teaching Teen Pregnancy Prevention and Good Life Choices

​ST. LOUIS – May 16, 2016 – Better Family Life, Inc. is presenting a youth empowerment rally tour called “Getting Down 2 Business” from Monday, May 16 through Friday, May 20, 2016.  Thousands of students in grades six through 12 will have the opportunity to learn about teen pregnancy prevention, how to avoid HIV and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and staying away from drugs.

Schools hosting the rally tour include East St. Louis Senior High School (with Mason Clark Middle School attending), Carr Lane VPA Middle School, Yeatman Liddell Middle School, Soldan International Studies High School, Roosevelt High School and Langston Middle School.  The final stop of the rally tour will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 20, at Better Family Life, 5415 Page Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63112.
